what do people think about our training events?

When people talk about Connect training events, the same words crop up again and again: 'buzzy', 'inspiring', 'dynamic'. Trainees come out of our sessions brimming with energy and confidence. They take away real-life ideas for individual clients; affirmation and acknowledgement for their own practice: a framework for thinking about the range and complexity of living with stroke and aphasia - without being overwhelmed by it.

A recent independent evaluation of our courses helped us to pinpoint the benefits and the very real barriers to change in your settings. So although our courses hit the mark, we're not complacent about just what it takes to really bring about changes when problems are complex and cultures hard to shift.

About the speakers and facilitators
We have a skilled team of researchers, practitioners and people living with stroke and aphasia who contribute to Connect training events. In addition we draw on the experiences and expertise of other practitioners who know what it takes to bring about practical change for complex issues. To find out more about the speakers click here.
