People with aphasia speak at stroke conference

People with aphasia explained to health and social care workers what it feels like to go through the 'goal setting' experience.

People with aphasia played a key role in a presentation led by Dr Kate Swinburn at the UK Stroke Forum Conference in Glasgow. The talk was called Good Goal Setting; Addressing the Consequences and Significance of Stroke. It was part of a multi-disciplinary rehabilitation training session and was attended by nurses, therapists, consultants and other health and social care workers.
