Red Shoes Day at Connect

05 May 2011

Connect staff launched the 'Fantastic 50' Challenge with a 'Red Shoes Day'.

Pumps, plimsolls, sling-backs and stilettos on Red Shoe Day at Connect

Connect staff got the fundraising ball rolling this week by donning Red Shoes to raise funds for the organisation. Everyone made a £3 donation to wear their best red shoes and those not joining in made a larger donation! The range of footwear was spectacular from sparkly pumps to stunning stilettos. 'This is a quick, fun and easy way to raise funds at work and a great way to raise awareness of aphasia', said Connect fundraiser, Rose Grissell.

This June it is Aphasia Awareness Month and we are inviting people to pledge to raise £500 for Connect. Red Shoes Day is just one suggestion but we have lots of ideas for ways you can support Connect by raising funds through your club, work or community. More ideas here
