Why do I have "good" and "bad" days?

People with aphasia say that it is very usual to have some "good" days and some "bad" days. The following things can affect their day:

  • Being tired
  • Feeling unwell
  • Being rushed
  • Feeling down

Sometimes there is not an obvious reason for having a bad day. Relatives say that they have learnt not to talk about complicated or difficult topics on these days. Come back to it later.
